HomeBuilder grant has been extended - secure your spot today!
Great news for home buyers, the Federal Government’s HomeBuilder grant has now been extended into 2021! The extension was announced on 29 November 2020 at a lesser amount of $15,000. To be eligible, buyers must have all build contracts signed between 1 January and 31 March 2021 and commence their build within six months. The extended program will assist new home buyers in their home ownership journey and benefit those who missed out on the previous $25k HomeBuilder, which lasted until December 2020.
At Start Point Homes, we’ve reached full capacity for builds that are eligible for the $25K grant but we still have limited spots available to access the $15K extension. We’re getting close to filling up all our build contracts during the timeframe, so act quickly as you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to knock $15,000 off the cost!

Lifted Price Caps
In addition to the HomeBuilder extension, the Australian Government has also increased property price caps for eligible builds. In Victoria, the price cap has raised from $750,000 to $850,000 and applies to buyers who sign their building contracts between January and March 2021.
